The 2010 KTM 350 sx-f

The new model 350 SX-F Racing Factory has been developed with the assistance of the strongest pilots engaged internationally with KTM, as the World Champion MX2 Marvin Musquin, the vice world champion Max Nagl and MX1 Motocross world champion women’s Steffi Laier.

The displacement is 350 cc 4-stroke single cylinder with a power electronic fuel injection, which offers solutions for almost unheard KTM, as the rear suspension with progressive linkage instead of the PDS system and a perimeter frame new concepts.

But the most important signature is that of Stefan Everts, director of the KTM factory team motocross and true legend of the specialty.

Will probably be the weapon of World Champion in office, Tony Cairoli, to give ’s attack on the World 2010, taking advantage of those skills according to the designers are the synthesis of a motocross bike: agility and power of a 250 ( almost) a 450.

In 2006, Stefan Everts was reigning world champion (with a mere 14 victories in 15 Grand Prix) and then he became KTM Race Director.

Back then, he could already see where the future of motocross was heading and in KTM he found an ideal partner for his vision: efficient and maximum practicable performance from smaller displacements in an overall package that’s tailored unconditionally to the requirements of the rider. 4 years or so later, it’s ready: the new 350 SX-F.

With a new engine, fuel injection system and smaller displacement, new bodywork, new chassis – in fact, a whole new concept. What with the first Grand Prix victory and racing to the top of the overall standings in the MX1 class after only two races, maybe even the beginning of a new era in motocross. Mike Alessi Motorcross Rider is now riding for KTM with the KTM 350sxf, so that new era is allready happening in Motorcross today!!! When mike alessi took the second round of the 450 Hangtown Classic Motorcross, With a great victory on the KTM 350sxf!!!!
