Harley-Davidson: 2010 Night Rod Special Motorcycle

The 2010 Night Rod Special Motorcycle

The Harley-Davidson Night Rod Special Motorcycle.

The Harley-Davidson VRSCDZ Night Rod Special Motorcycle is no nonsense Harley and looks as if it is straight out from the Batman’s sleek-Furious yet stylish all at the same time.

This is, for the most part, a standard V-Rod that looks like it’s been dunked in a giant vat of black paint. Just about everything—engine, frame, bodywork, fork sliders, triple-clamps, swingarm and small “speed screen”—is black.

The slotted cast aluminum wheels have a thin orange pinstripe as an accent, and the otherwise-black exhaust system has brushed-aluminum covers on the mufflers.

With the 1250cc engine pounding out a claimed 125 horsepower and 85 ft.-lb. of torque, the Night Rod Special is special indeed.

The Night Rod Special offers a raw, street-tough attitude, with an all-black Revolution V-Twin engine and blacked-out fork legs, swing arm and  other components. The speed-screen visor and racing stripe come straight from the drag strip.

The VRSC™ family offers an unmatched combination of style and performance. The 60-degree Revolution 1250 cc V-Twin is liquid-cooled and features Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI), dual overhead cams, four-valve heads, and a five-speed transmission.

The engine is rubber-mounted in a hydroformed steel perimeter frame. A shell covers the large-volume airbox located over the engine.

• Black, Slotted Disc Cast Aluminum wheels with orange pin stripe
